This is a lovely light weight North African bracelet made in a style that was favored by European importers and repeated in different variations throughout North Africa. It features a latticed body with an oval medallion that has overlaid Arabic calligraphy. I believe the word is stylized "Tunis." It also has cast overlaid openwork domes.

The bracelet does test positive for silver and has four punch marks including a diamond shaped mark associated with French silver hallmarks (see fifth photo),  It has a pin closure and is in  reasonable vintage condition, though one of the domes is dented and it is somewhat out of round.

Inner circumference is 17 cm (6 5/8"). Width is 1.8 (just under 3/4"). Weight is 16 g.
