Golden Topaz Ring | 925 Sterling Silver
Up until maybe a century ago, all references to Topaz meant Golden Topaz. Much as I love the cool refreshing energy of the blue variety, to me Golden Topaz has always been the ' Real Thing '
Such a shame it's so much rarer and more expensive, so I was happy to find these lovely stones at a reasonable price.
These oval cabochons have a really nice deep shade. Really good clarity and transparency, with just a few small inclusions. It's a lovely classic setting well made in quality Sterling Silver - Bezel set with open back.
Golden Topaz is one of those Legendary Stones of History. The Reddish Pink varieties are called Imperial Topaz. Ancient Egyptians believed the Topaz was the stone of Ra, the Sun God, and would be a blessing for his protection and favor.
The energy of Golden Topaz is Warm, Expansive and Healing. It's also very fulfilling, which encourages Emotional Independence.
Astrologically it's a perfect stone for the sign of Sagittarius or Scorpio.
Chakra stone for the Solar Plexus or Manipura Chakra. Stimulates life force, cellular healing, creativity with direction.
The Hardness of Topaz is 8, substantially harder than Amethyst for example which has a hardness of 7.
